Police release CCTV images of man they would like to speak to following thefts from a shop

Police are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with thefts that have taken place at a shop in Bury St Edmunds.

The incidents occurred at Homebase on Easlea Road on three separate occasions over a period of nearly a year. The most recent took place on 9 January this year, while other thefts have been reported on 21 February 2022 and 20 January 2022.

Disposable gas cylinders are believed to have been stolen in each of the incidents, while white spirit was also stolen in the most recent incident.

Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

Anyone who recognises the man or who has any information about the thefts is asked to contact Suffolk police quoting reference 37/2223/23
