Police warning following three burglaries at business premises in west Suffolk

 

Police are appealing for witnesses and urging businesses to be vigilant following three burglaries in west Suffolk.
 
The first incident took place during the early hours of Thursday 26 July at HSS Hire in Cratfield Road, Bury St Edmunds.
 
An unknown offender forced entry by smashing a glass pane in a door. A quantity of industrial tools including, concrete breakers, drills, a floor sander and other unknown items were stolen(42015/18).
 
The second incident took place during the daytime on Thursday 26 July at an agricultural business in Wickhambrook.
 
An unknown offender was witnessed leaving a building after the alarm had been activated. A chainsaw, strimmer and a set of hedge trimmers were stolen from inside (41922/18).
 
The third incident took place at 2.15am on Friday 27 July at another business in Milner Road, on the Chilton Road Industrial Estate in Sudbury (42030/18).        
 
Two unknown offenders forced entry into Travis Perkins via a side door and stole a number of power tool including, a drill, saws and several pairs of construction boots, among other items.

Officers are currently keeping an open mind regarding whether these incidents are linked and enquiries are ongoing.
