Richard fully admits he can’t play an instrument, can’t sing and, according to his wife, can’t dance either. However, he does play music – as much and as varied as possible.
A child of the late Fifties, Sixties and beyond, he grew up with music all around him. As a Clacton lad, with the pirate stations moored just a few miles offshore, those were great days for a boy with a transistor radio glued to his ear.
Today, Richard’s purchasing interests lie firmly with the many and varied young talents who produce great new music across all genres – he’s always on the lookout for what’s fresh and next.
Now back behind the microphone, Richard is beyond excited to be back doing what he loves most.
