A second person has died at West Suffolk Hospital after contracting Coronavirus

Nick Jenkins, medical director for the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust confirmed that now two patients both  in their 70s with underlying health conditions have passed away at West Suffolk Hospital. They had tested positive for COVID-19.

Last night, tributes were paid to Jane Jay from Ixworth  who became the first person to die after contracting coronavirus in Suffolk.
