Police appeal after two people arrested following public order incident in Nowton Park

Police are appealing for witnesses to a public order incident in Bury St Edmunds.

It took place at Nowton Park on Friday 23 October at some point between 1pm and 3pm

During this incident a male and female couple who were walking two dogs, are suspected to have been involved in a number of verbal altercations with other members of public in the area.

A man, aged 37 was arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of a class B drug, while a woman, aged 33, was arrested on suspicion of theft and public order were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and subsequently released pending further investigation.
