A flatbed van in an unroadworthy condition was stopped on the A14 at Bury St Edmunds yesterday, Monday 19th April.
The van stopped after officers spotted the driver wasn’t wearing a seat belt and carrying an insecure load.
Officers then found that the vehicle was 600kgs overweight, had broken suspension, a seriously corroded body, broken lights and a defective parking brake.
Officers prohibited the vehicle.
