Police are reminding people to consider the security of their vehicles following reports of a man attempting to try door handles on vehicles in the Moreton Hall area of Bury St Edmunds.
A black Ford Focus vehicle had its handle tried on Thursday 11 November on Radnor Close at about 245am.
Officers would like to speak to male depicted in the photo in connection with the incident
Police believe the same individual is responsible for other similar incidents of attempting to open unlocked vehicles in recent weeks.
Police are reminding vehicle owners that most thefts from cars are opportunist so advise them not to leave valuables on display and lock all doors when the vehicle is unattended.
