West Suffolk Hospital confirms death of three patients with Coronavirus

Three more patients have lost their battle with the Coronavirus at the West Suffolk Hospital today.

Prof Dr Stephen Dunn, chief executive for the West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust said: “We can confirm that sadly, three patients with underlying health conditions, one in their 60s, one in their 70s, and one in their 90s, have passed away at West Suffolk Hospital. They had tested positive for COVID-19.

“Our thoughts and condolences remain with these patients’ families and loved ones at this difficult time.”

This brings the total to 21 with almost 100 patients testing positive, more than 35 have recovered enough to return home.
