The lucky winners who tracked down all the clues in the Our Bury St Edmunds 12 Days of Christmas Trail have been presented with their prizes. The competition involved seeking out and interacting by phone with a number of different objects around the town including a stunning new array of Christmas lights. A top prize of an Our Bury St Edmunds Gift Card worth £100 was presented to 12 year old Ella Barnes with Mike Wilson collecting a runners-up prize of £50.

The competition was generously supported by HSBC UK and organised by the Business Improvement District (BID) organisation Our Bury St Edmunds. The interactive elements of the trail, which included a greeting, the answer to the clue, information about local Christmas activities and a traditional cracker joke were devised by technology and communications firm Hello Lamp Post.

Chief Executive of Our Bury St Edmunds Mark Cordell said: “This was a safe and fun festive family experience and feedback from those who took part has been extremely positive. I’m very grateful to both HSBC UK and Hello Lamp Post for making this possible and bringing a fun element to the end of a challenging year.
