A woman has been arrested in Bury St Edmunds on suspicion of shop lifting.
Officers from the safer neighbourhood team made the arrest yesterday after she was allegedly involved in five incident of shoplifting in the town, to a value of £2000.
Police Officers located and arrested her at a flat in Bury St Edmunds after she initially evaded them and then refused to open the door.
Speaking on social media a Police spokesperson confirmed that she was in custody awaiting court.
A Bury woman is currently in custody awaiting court having been charged with 5 offences of shoplifting in the town to a value of £2000.
