Appeal after vehicles damaged in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for information after 10 vehicles were damaged in overnight incidents in Bury St Edmunds.

The criminal damage, which included smashed windscreens, windows and wing mirrors and scratched bodywork on cars and vans, was committed between 3am and 5am on 6 April.

  • Three vehicles were damaged in Lancaster Avenue;
  • Two vehicles were damaged in Northumberland Avenue;
  • Two vehicles were damaged in Eagle Walk;
  • One vehicle was damaged in Mannock Drive;
  • One vehicle was damaged in Beetons Way;
  • One vehicle was damaged in St Olave’s Road.

Anyone who has any information, particularly ring doorbell footage in these roads and neighbouring streets, is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference number: 37/20346/23.
