Richard Bennett

Richard grew up in London / Essex and moved to Bury St Edmunds in 1987. Married to Chris they have two children, and two grandchildren. Following retirement from a career in financial services he became a presenter on RWSfm in 2019 playing music and occasionally sitting in on the Sports Show.

A published author, Richard enjoys creative writing, watching live shows, theatre, cinema, reading (especially crime and psychological thrillers), short breaks at the North Norfolk coast, and watching most sports. After playing many different sports in the past, he currently participates in more leisurely indoor bowls.

Richard is a lifelong West Ham United supporter, has written a book about the club, and writes a weekly football blog about them too. He also enjoys visiting different racetracks to watch horse racing.

Adrian Copping

After working as a Health Service Manager, and then a Vicar mainly in Wales, Adrian’s retirement lead to him and Diane moving back to East Anglia to be nearer their two sons and six grandchildren, as well as their beloved Ipswich Town FC.

Mike & Bonny Pope

“Apart from having a small Country Band for 30 years, playing all over the region, Mike and Bonny have also been involved in Amateur Theatre for many years. They have appeared in several BSEAODS productions and Mike has directed plays at the Kings Theatre in Newmarket. Mike has combined these interests with his career as a teacher, but since taking early retirement he and Bonny have been able to devote more time to their love of music.
