Residents of the Howard Estate will get their Post Office back it has been announced.

Allison’s Eatery opened at the St Olaves Precinct last year and had always planned to incorporate a Post Office into the business after the estate’s previous one closed in 2017.

Allison Knight, owner of the vegan café, said “it gives me immense pleasure, especially with how things are at the minute, to let you all know that the Post Office is coming back to the Howard Shops. I have not been allowed to say anything, but now I can. It’s all still in the early stages, so no date as yet.”
