Knife pointed at pedestrian from car window near to a West Suffolk RAF Base

A knife has been pointed at a member of the public close to a West Suffolk RAF base.

The incident happened on Monday evening, 5th July, close to RAF Honington at about 7pm. A Grey Seat Leon was seen recklessly driving at the shops on Green Lane.

The vehicle then turned on to heath road reeving its engine before the passenger pointed a knife out of the window at a passing pedestrian.

Suffolk Police were alerted to the incident by the RAF Police.

Suffolk Police said “We had a report Monday (5 July) at about 7pm of a knife being held out of a car window in the Honnington area. The vehicle, travelling towards Thetford, was described as a grey Seat Leon. There are no further details.
