Bury St Edmunds leisure centre has launched a ‘use it or lose it’ campaign in the hope of boosting swimming numbers.

The leisure centre, run by Abbey Croft Leisure, in Western Way currently runs swimming sessions on Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons between 4pm and 6pm. However, currently, attendance is low.

The leisure centre has warned that if numbers don’t increase, they will be forced to close the pool during these times.

The slots were added to the schedule on top of normal pool opening times.
