Police appeal after man bit by dog in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident in Bury St Edmunds that took place on Thursday 9 March at 11.05am.

As a male, aged in his 60s, was walking from the B & M Store towards Asda car park on Western Way. He had to step in behind a female whom was walking a black Lucher type dog to avoid a car that was turning into the car park.

The dog then turned jumped up towards the male face and bit him on the shoulder – no injuries were caused. The owner of the dog didn’t apologise and walked off.

Police are keen to speak to the dog owner who is described as a white female, thought to be aged in her 60s with shoulder length, grey hair and was wearing a black top and grey jogging bottoms.
