Police appeal after violent incident in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses to an incident of violent disorder in Bury St Edmunds.

It took place at about 5.15 pm on Wednesday 16 February on King’s Road in the town.

A group of approximately six youths were following a group of three other youths from the town centre and onto King’s Road when they started shouting at them. This turned into a fight between the groups which resulted in some minor injuries for some of the youths.

Anyone who witnessed the incident has CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident or knows who was involved should contact Bury St Edmunds police, quoting crime number 37/9938/22
