Police from Bury St Edmunds have assisted Police in Sudbury following an incident involving a knife.
Officers armed with Tasers gained entry and managed to subdue the male who was having a mental health episode armed with a knife. Entry was forced by the officers and Tasers drawn but they were not fired.
The man was taken in the care of West Suffolk NHS mental health services.
