Suffolk police issue update following nationwide issues with 999 service

Suffolk Police say BT have confirmed that issues with the 999 service in Suffolk have now been resolved.

A spokesperson said “BT have confirmed that 999 calls can now be taken following a technical fault earlier. The system may not be working to full capacity so please only call 999 in an emergency”.
