Teenager assaulted in Bury St Edmunds nature reserve

Police are appealing for witnesses after a teenager was assaulted in a nature reserve in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident happened on land behind the King Edward VI Upper School in Grove Road between 6pm and 6.30pm on Saturday 29 July.

The victim was with a friend when he was punched in the face by two young men. He was pushed into a bush and suffered facial injuries and his T-shirt was ripped.

One of his assailants is described as white, about 5ft 9in tall and wearing a black tracksuit with a hood. The other is also white, about 5ft 8ins tall, with fair hair and wearing a T-shirt and either jeans or tracksuit bottoms. They were with two other males and a teenage girl.
