A West Suffolk initiative to help reduce rough sleeping in the area and better support people in preventing them from returning to the streets, has been awarded nearly £250,000 in Government funding after a successful bid.

Detectives investigating a serious sexual assault in Bury St Edmunds at the beginning of this month have identified a suspect in connection with the incident.

Following a series of thefts of tools from vans and outbuildings, such as sheds and garages recently, Suffolk Constabulary launched a countywide crime prevention campaign to raise awareness and reduce incidents.
